I send my 3 children to school there. This is there second year. I have a elementary, middle, and high school student. I do agree there is confusion and teachers get back to you 3-4 days later but, its a great school. My two daughters are doing great. They have nice friends and they come from different back grounds. That's part of life. My son loves the elementary. He does get a lot of homework but, it will pay off in the end. My Oldest daughter has been able to witness to some of her friends that are not quite as far in there walk with the LORD. They ask her questions about her faith. My middle school student never was excepted at her other school and now she fits in with her new friends. The school could use some extra attention in the Math department in the high school. They have teachers that know how to do Math but they don't know how to teach it. They have been teaching too long and think everyone should know how to do it. Overall the school has been good for my children. Coram Deo

I sent my child because I wanted the spiritual aspect, but I'm very disappointed in the school. Communication is very difficult, the teachers just don't get back to you. The school seems very disorganized, always losing paperwork (& tests!) There is definitely favoritism, some kids get detentions for the same offense another will not. The language & behavior of the kids doesn't reflect the Christlike standard the school tries to instill. The facility is not the greatest & the lunch food is all microwave trash(except one day a week when parents prepare) Academics are tough & average kids seem not to be able to keep up.All in all, my child' experience hasn't been good. We're looking into another school.

Great school... it's funny reading some of the negative comments... Chapel Field is far from perfect, but they strive to be the best than they can be and I appreciate all that they do for my students. The Principal and Vice Principal (who are not related at all unlike one of the previous reviews stated) make a good pair as they both have their own ways with administration. I just thank God for schools like this one.

Enroll them in a martial arts program. This wlill teach self confidence and it comes with built in group support and friends!

If you truly mean a shy kid who wants to be outgoing, then I would help them interact with one child at a time. If you are talking about an introverted child, refer to http://www.carlkingdom.com/10-myths-about-introverts

Find something you are good at or enjoy doing a lot, just one thing. You'll gain confidence and meet other kids that enjoy that activity too. Mine was singing in choir. I wasn't good at anything else but that built my confidence for other things... More »
