I graduated from Abington High School in 1999 and to this date believe that AHS sculpted me into the successful businessman I am today. They provided a strong academic background while employing teachers who push the boundaries of modern education. Without my AHS education I would not have attended college in Baltimore and not developed into the well rounded person I am today. I'm thankful that public high schools like AHS still exist and are providing high quality education for the children of Pennsylvania.

There is a new principal who is absolutely terrific - respected by parents and students and has brought new energy to the school. This school has a lot of diversity and prepares students for the real world while maintaining very high standards academically. Because of diversity behavior is an issue sometimes, but the school really highlights achievement in many areas and the kids know what's expected. My children have been prepared for academic competition at the highest level and at college interviews my child has heard that Abington is very well thought of both for academics and for preparing its students to move into the wider world. Terrific art, theater, music and academics as well, with enthusiastic mentors amount the teachers.

If I could have chosen to go to high school anywhere, this would be it. We have great teacheres and extracurriculars, especially marching band.

Abington has EVERYTHING...the best teachers (ones who act as both educators and mentors), a diverse student population, myriad clubs/activities, and a friendly environment overall.

Absolutely, because kids are an integral part of their own success. If they are forced into uncomfortable situations they shut down. If they explore their interestes..they blossom. Love not conformity.
