Laurel Elementary is a small school and is overlooked compared to the other schools in this community. But what they don't have in quantity they make up in quality. The staff and teachers go above and beyond to take care of these kids and give them the best the can despite their lack of resources and financial help. They care so much for these kids and they are very deserving of any help they can get to further assist them in helping the children in this small rural area.
Three of my grandchildren attend this school and they love it. Looking at those test scores makes me understand why my daughter loves it so much for her children. I have visited the school and just fell in love with the atmosphere of the school and the caring attitude of the teachers.
