There are too many children in one class for one teacher to handle. The lesson plans are confusing as one group of students may be working on math and another group of students could be working on science and both are happening at the same time. How is this not confusing to the students? There are major changes needed at this school.

I go in every Monday and help with the Kindergarten reading group or play word games. Then I eat lunch with my child. I also attend and bring things to all school parties. Since I volunteer only on Mondays I do not burn out. : )

Our school gives us mandatory hours (15) that we must give to the school in one way or the other. It is very easy if you don't mind stuffing envelopes or being a lunch mom. I think they even give working moms the opportunities to work on paperwork.... More »
