I think Hidden valley high school could be better. the teachers play favorites and the jocks are the schools most prize possession. The kids are also very rude and judgmental.

As a former student, I'd like to say that in many ways, attending Hidden Valley truly shaped me into the positive person I am today. I was involved in a few extracurricular activities and sports, yet I learned so much from the participants and the teachers; were it not for some of the teachers that gave their time and all of their heart into projects and their classes, I would not be the strong, intellegent person I am today.

As a former student of Hidden Valley, I have to say that the teachers and faculty of Hidden Valley shaped me into who I am today. The HV staff are not only there to teach the students, but they really take the time to form relationships with the students. I feel that is a great way to teach students. Hidden Valley was also nice beccause it is a relatively small school in comparison to others, which is why you really get to know everyone there, both fellow students and faculty. Overall, HV is an awesome place to trust your children's education with.

I've noticed that you don't see a lot of parent participation until the senior events come around. It's nice of parents to be supportive of their seniors, but the other grades need parent involvement, too. Dennis Misner is a great principal. He listens, is patient with students, and doesn't bend over backwards to make students miserable. He respects his students and tries to work with them one-on-one to make a high school a more positive experience for them.

Our six-grader Daughter, enjoys the freedom of choice. We allow her to pick and choose as she makes good choices, she has demonstrated responsibility in her decisions. Making (Pizza) & Tomatoes) are Vegetables came from USDA. Freedom of Choice.

No. I prepare my son's lunch just about every day due to his special needs so I know what he is consuming both for him and his class. I want to be aware of all ingredients in all foods/drinks which he is consuming.

If it is to keep allergic kids safe, then no. A strict rule of no peanuts or pb&j should be enough. My child's school had a peanut free table for double insurance. If for "nutritional" reasons, then NO! Since when is pizza a veggie????... More »
