i graduated president of my W.S. Neal High School class and pround of it. Both my boys go to Neal and would not have it any other way. Neal is the best and always will be. I will be an Eagle forever.
W.S. Neal is a great school. It's true that it's underfunded, but I never knew a teacher that wasn't qualified to teach the subject that they were teaching in any given year. The extracuricular activies do leave something to be desired, but with such a small school and so little funds there's not that much anyone can do about it. Neal has prepared me for college in many ways, expecially a certain History teacher. I am very proud to say that I'm a graduate of W.S. Neal and I'll be an Eagle forever.

W.S. Neal tries to utlize the limited amount of resources it has at its disposal. In some instances, I have seen examples of teachers attempting to teach their classes in subjects they are ill-equipped to teach. From a parents and a student's perspective, this is indeed frustrating and discouraging. Combined with the county and the states very low graduation rates, etc., this should give every parent serious cause before making the decisicion to send theri children back to the Neal School System for another year of below-par learning experiences. Our kids all deserve better than this. and until we as parents command the best our teachers and adminin=strators have to oifferparents stand up and demand it.
