The Student Leadership Academy is a new charter middle school on the island of Venice. There is 6 & 7 grade this year with max. 165 students and adding 8th grade next year. The electives include Civil Air Patrol, Fencing, Russian, aerobics and many more. The parents have been very instrumental in their involvement at every level. The children are required to perform volunteer hours and are doing so proudly. I think everyone has done a great job and I am proud to be a part of the whole experience.
