This school Rocks! It is Awesome. The teachers are friendly and the administration (Mrs. Coffey and Ms. Bourland) are Fabulous. There are many activities for the children to participate in. Classes are available for parents througout the week in addition to tutoring for kids. The campus is warm and inviting. Student intervention and success is a definately a priority. All staff members are caring and go above and beyond regular duties. Avocado is Awesome and the best school in the area.

In my opinion, this is the best school in the area. The teachers are very informative on the childs progress. The ESE program is exceptional, Ms. Lima did an outstanding job in how she worked with my child. The progress was outstanding. She is very informative. Due to other issues we've moved away from the school, and now my daughter is not doing as well. I wish I could go back.

My daughter is in Ms. Delancy's 1st grade gifted class. I think it is 'good'. She is a wonderful teacher, yet I don't think that the schools offer enough enrichment programs. There is no Spanish classes until 2nd grade, and no Art class until 2nd grade. No P.E. either, just 'play time'. This may be due to budget cuts, but I do know of other schools that have these classes by 1st grade. Hope this helps!

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
