My daughter started out school a year later than her classmates due to her developing late in speech. She is doing awesome. Her teachers have really been helpful in her developing the skills she needs to succeed. I am so proud of her!!!!

I cannot find enough words to say how wonderful this school is. My child has just finished her first year here(kindergarden) and It was a great year for our whole family. The teacher was always right there when we had any conserns. She is fantastic! The staff is great. They are always very helpful. The school it self is always on the cutting edge with ways to teach. the school itself rivals some of the best High Schools Indiana has to offer. People always forget that the first years of school set the tone for the rest of our lives, but not this school and not these teachers. They foster a true love of learning not just for the kids but for the parents as well.

This school has many wonderful teachers but just as many teachers who are not. I believe that the overall attitude of a school comes from the principal & staff. The counselor seems not listen to parents who are concerned with their children unless it goes along with what she believes. I have had 2 children here and will have my 3rd child there soon. I am hoping with the new principal this school can change it's unconcerned attitude with how concerned parents feel. I believe since it's gotten so large that it's just hard for the principal or office staff to really know the families who go to the school. I've been very active with my kids classrooms and sometimes find teachers who are too busy to respond to phone calls or letters. There are some absolutely wonderful teachers that my kids have had here! -Noemi M Castellano

I would just like to say that the move we made here was the best thing we could have ever done for us and our children. My first grader is getting compliments from his kindergarten teacher because he is teaching his younger brothers(also one that is 3) how to read and break words down and teaching them states and presidents. My husband and I just want to say ThankYou for the great teaching and warm welcoming we have recieved since we have been here. Amanda and Truman Vinson PS Also interested in extra curricular activities for the boys.

We test kids at the end of the year and beginning. Kids that don't keep up during the summer take a giant step backwards. If our kids do complain about homework, we ask them,"Do you want to work for a company, or own the company?"

No. Let the children have a break. Let their minds focus on being children. They'll have plenty of homework when they go back to school. I would not even consider enforceing summer homework for my children. They need stress free playtime.

Yes. Of course summer is for fun however they can take a brake from homework 2 weeks or so, not the whole summer. If you teach a child the importance of learing they will enjoy the homework even in the summer.
