As a Junior at Archbishop Carroll, I only have positive things to say. The academic curriculum is excellent, and is continuing to advance with Honors, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. The school has many extra curricular activities, and has something that can definately reach out to every single student. So far, these have been the best three years of my life, I have met so many new people, and have had a blast. I have met many big names in Miami that have come to the school to speak to the student body. The fact that we have had special guests such as County Commissioner, Joe Martinez, State Representative, Juan Zapata, Bishop Noonan and Bishop Estevez, and soon, the Mayor of Miami, Tomas Regalado, is just absolutely astounding. I can honestly highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a family-oriented, religion based high school.

As a senior in this school, I am proud to say I chose this high school compared to the many different Catholic high schools in the area. I will be giving a large overview of this school so hang on tight. Academics: As a senior, I can say that I have gone through many teachers and I am very delighted to see that all teachers here are very involved. Especially the new faculty in the science department, which is a dedicated team that challenges the students to really think and understand. The theology program at ACC is stellar! I can not stress enough the beauty of having the Carmalites in my school. They have such dedication to the students and a real genuine love and desire for their success. The school also implemented young members in the faculty that have really fired up the school. Continued to next comment...
My children attending this school and I believe the instructors, staff and overall school environment is a healthy place for young adults to be in prior to exploring all avenues their lives may lead to as a graduate.

Two weeks into school everyone is in their cliques and are not inviting. The students do not accept different, opinions, or people. There is only so much guidance and the teachers can do, but nothing changes. The academics are good, but the constant distraction of the kids disrupts the learning environment. I am not the only one who feels this way, a few do. There has to be a balance. The learning environment is not up to standard. They promote good morals but the students don t reflect it. I would not recommend this school. If you re looking for a catholic school with a healthy learning and social environment, don t come here. The teachers and staff are friendly and helpful, but they can t change the kids and the learning environment. The kids at this school are bad news, no violence, just a whole lot of cussing, and just a bad influence.
