I have to say I am very disappointed in what has happend to Saint Angela Merici School. It is not at all what it used to be. I can't get over the fact that the class sizes are way to big and what happened to all the special subjects!!! This school has gone down hill.

i like the school and my son loves his surroundings , do not like the parking tickets in the quickest minute ever, for dropping off or picking up my child, But i do not have the answer for that ? yet? my BIGGEST CONCERN IS THIS YEAR , my son is now in the 3rd grade and yesterday he mentioned to me that he has approximately 34 --36 children in one class room and with one teacher miss Wilson. i love miss Wilson , BUT 34 children is WAY TO MUCH for any size class room and for any (1 teacher ) ? don't you agree ! i pay my sons school in full every year before he starts in Sept. AND I REALLY FEEL THAT 34 children in one classroom needs to change ASAP for the sake of the children, just like SISTER LOURDES ALWAYS say's,, FOR THE KIDS..

My daughter has been a student since the 1st grade, now is going to the 5th. This school is great!!! SAM prepares our children for higher learning. Where ever they go after this they can handle it all. The Teachers are great and they know everyone s name.

SAM is a great school that offers the children there a well rounded education. The teachers care for their students as if they were their own. Students are well prepared in all subject areas. The special subjects that they offer really complete the package of a great school. The music program, which includes choir and band is amazing. The art program has the children learning various art techniques and artists. Also the gym program really gives the students a great workout. Its a little gem hidden in the Bronx!
