My daughter attended Kindergarten last year and I was impressed by her teacher's attentiveness to help her learn. The teacher was willing to stay after class to tutor her and my daughter loved her teacher. The teacher and the whole staff seemed very focused on creating a postive learning enviornment. These qualities and more are the reason we are back for 1st Grade.

I am very sadden by the kindergarten staff. I was surprise to the lack of passion and concern for the student's learning ability. It was all straight from the book.

My son is so blessed to attend Liberty Christian Academy. The 6th grade teachers and Mrs. Jones shows strong christian atributes. My son enjoys his teacher and class for the first time in years. The staff is very involved in the welling being of the studend.

On average all classes are at least 1-1/2 grades ahead of the national average. They instill good, moral Christian values. The teachers show genuine concern about the students. Regarding student ethnicity, about 15% of the students are minority. There are other LCA Campuses, but during a visit at the Pataskala Campus, one of the children held the door for me like a gentlemen should, I was won over...

If you truly mean a shy kid who wants to be outgoing, then I would help them interact with one child at a time. If you are talking about an introverted child, refer to http://www.carlkingdom.com/10-myths-about-introverts

Find something you are good at or enjoy doing a lot, just one thing. You'll gain confidence and meet other kids that enjoy that activity too. Mine was singing in choir. I wasn't good at anything else but that built my confidence for other things... More »
