I am glad to read such positive reviews of this school. But, when I observed at Enon Montessori, I was quite unimpressed and disappointed. It might be a nice preschool for some but it wasn't very Montessori. There were tables all about the room- not much room for walking and doing 'work.' Also the children were separated into the 3 different age groups. One of the beauties of Montessori is watching the different aged children mingle and help each other. I hope what I observed was not par for the course for this Montessori school.

Enon Montessori was the best thing that happened to my family! As a two parent working household, my son was in daycare from an early age. That was the most miserable experience of my life. I cried every day I left him there and he cried every morning I took him back. Once he turned 3 I entered him into the pre school program at Enon Montessori and never looked back! The teachers are so nurturing and patient with all the children, and no longer is a tear shed by myself or my son. Most importantly the educational program is top quality! I am constantly amazed at the knowledge my son gains each and every day. My mother in law actually cried as he recited the Pledge of Allegiance...at 3 years old. He is now 4, in the pre-K program and almost reading. Amazing!

There isn't a better early childhood school around! My daughter attended for 4 years and we loved every minute of it. As an educator myself, I appreciated the emphasis on science, cultural studies, and early reading. The curriculum is thorough and supported by meaningful field trips. The Spanish, dance/tumble, and music classes are also excellent. I wish my daughter could remain an Enon Montessori Kindergartener forever!
