I have been a parent at LHS for 5 years and putting my 3rd child through LHS right now. It is a wonderful school. It offers my kids great academics as well as athletics. I have kids playing sports, participating in clubs and excelling in academics. Go Knights!

Lahser High is a great school! My son was having a difficult time adjusting from his prior school (Novi High) and the faculty helped assist in his comfort level. They offered him opportunities academically and socially that provided him a well-rounded environment and opportunity. Not only did the counselor meet with my son, but the principal. My son was not just a new number in Lahser, he was a part of the family and the objective for all students that attend Lahser High. Go Lahser High! Keep up the good work! Great Points about Laher High: - Academically Challenging - Diverse - Promotes Leadership - Offers great opportunities that will create successfully young women and men in the future.

Lahser High School is now under the exceptionally competent leadership of a new principal. Under his leadership, tangible goals have been set, methods to achieve them outlined, and steps taken to implement them have begun. All is not perfect at Lahser, but under the leadership of the new principal, I look for it to get there quickly. Honors classes have proven rigorous and highly educational. I feel that my child will be extremely well prepared for college academics anywhere. Math might be a relative weakness, but is not a weakness overall. I do wish for more exciting science curricula. There is more education in this building than any child takes advantage of. If there is a weakness, it is that the complacent student can slide through. A student who goes after an education will not find better. If your student is complacent, the staff will work with you.

Teachers who are firm, tough, yet fair, are mislabeled as, "bullies." This is such a ridiculous and false accusation. I got a tough job but I love my job and I care about the students. People don't have a clue what I do or the challenges... More »

How I handled it varied depending on the circumstances. Teacher bullying is child abuse-proove it 1st! If teacher/pricipal/staff won't stop-go above their heads-Seek help from PTO's,administration, schoolboard, media, even CPS-Child Protective Services.

No one should put up with this. Take it as high as you need to go and follow up everything in writing. Even so far as going to your local paper. School A tolerates bullying and won't help children being victimized. They will listen after that!
