This school has shown me on more than one occasion that it does not have the best interest of the children in mind. This stems from the teachers to the administrative staff, the guidance department and principals. Repeated unanswered/unreturned phone calls and lack of cooperation in desperate situations reinforced for me why children do such bad things in schools. Resources are difficult enough to find when a child needs help. Parents and schools need to work together, especially when there are problems, and I am sick of hearing about the parents who do not get involved at this point, when I tried so hard to make that difference, and found myself one sided and alone, unable to get the school to get involved. I should not have to chase the school down for help just as the school should not have to chase me down. This applies to grades and teachers as well as behavior and discipline departments.
