North Columbia is the best Columbia County school out there. My child attended one of the other Columbia County Elementary and by far this school out ranks them all. You can't appreciate this school unless you've been to one of the others. This school is not just about education but about you and your family. Thumbs up to you North Columbia, I appreciate all you do.

We loved this school! My son attended preK-half of 1st grade before we moved and we miss the close family atmosphere! The teachers are wonderful and love their kids. Yeah, it isn't the newest, prettiest school but there's lots of love and quality education and great values!

I go in every Monday and help with the Kindergarten reading group or play word games. Then I eat lunch with my child. I also attend and bring things to all school parties. Since I volunteer only on Mondays I do not burn out. : )

Our school gives us mandatory hours (15) that we must give to the school in one way or the other. It is very easy if you don't mind stuffing envelopes or being a lunch mom. I think they even give working moms the opportunities to work on paperwork.... More »
