I attended Steel Center for two years. I received an amazing education there. The environment was very welcoming and fun and the staff there are a very pleasant bunch. If I could do it all over again, I would! At the drop of a hat.

A really great technical academy for students who are willing to make a serious commitment to their future. The school puts forth a tremendous effort in preparing the students in specific areas of expertise to prepare them for both post graduation employment as well as college and technical school advancement. They have very little tolerance for disciplinary problem students as it is considered a privilege to attend SCAVTS. Students must maintain a certain level of grades to remain in the school as well as pass certification exams to advance to a higher level. Student receive levels of Basic, Intermediate, Advanced and a select few achieve Advanced with Distinction. Awards presented for students who show exceptional professionalism are Extra Effort, Top of the Shop, and one 'Student of the Year'. Students who achieve academic excellence in their high school as well as SCAVTS are inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS).

A blog by nature is public territory. If you don't want something to be public knowledge, don't post it on the internet.
