Powell Elementary is just AWESOME.......My son just finished Kindergarten and he loved it so much that he can't wait until next school season. His teacher was Ms. Horner and she is great. I would highly recommend her to anyone. The principle Ms. Johnson is absolutely wonderful and caring. This school is great and we love it.
I think any school that can make my child be excited about returning after summer break has to be a great school. Serena Loves Powell elementary as well as the staff.
Powell Elementary is a great school...my son is just in Kindergarten but he absolutely loves it and his teacher Ms. Antone is wonderful...My son loves the music program at the school...it has made him want to start playing the guitar. How fun is that?
Powell Elementary is a great school for the area of Knoxville. They have a very involved principle and structured environment that results in overall school success. The teachers are always pleasant and happy and the students reflect this atmosphere. There are numerous parents who volunteer at this school and the PTA support is outstanding.
