Valley View has great teachers and an awesome parent group always looking for ways to enrich the students education, however the school is old and in need of TLC. Money is a huge issue, we are desperately seeking ways to squeeze more out of what we don't have and being rather successful too!
This school continues to be a great choice for our daughter who is now in 1st grade. She is learning in such an effective way. I attended private elementary school and was worried about going public with my kids, but I have to admit the education my daughter receives at Valley View is better than I received in private school.
I really like the school and staff. Principal is great. Little to no traffic because 2 people always there to speed things along. Best of all lots of parent involvement. I wish the after school programs were free like at my kids previous schools but if that was the trade I wouldn't change them because the education is much better here.
