I enrolled my three children in grades 1, 3 and 4 in the school year 06/07 and I was very disappointed with this school. If I had the resources I would immediately remove my children from this school. The number one problem is the principal Dr. Fisher, she is not only has a bad attitude but is additionally loud with the attitude. The academics are horrible as well. There are no sports teams, the school is dirty and the grounds unkempt. Also the playground is actually dangerous one of my children cut herself on the monkey bars.
ernie plye does not have academic programs for the children. far as music,art classes the children doesn't take part in outside programs in these classes and sports they have basketball only the children does well when this season is going on. parents do getr involved.ernie plye needs be improvement in edcuation, books, computers. we only have a few teachers that will take out more time with a child if needed. one teacher told me i can't and don't have the time to give to a student who is learning slower. i can rememeber when teacher would spend extra time with a student if needed. not anymore parents can forget about it. first of all the teachers are underpaid, and don't have the patients anymore. how can a student learn if the teacher is always hollowing at the student. in the school system here it is terrible.
