I am very impressed with this school. My son is in his second year there and thriving. The original texts, the seminar method of discussion, the small 'family' community, the freedom and respect the children receive -- is all remarkable. The sacred music choir and the drama program is amazing -- all children are required to participate in both. It is a uniquely Catholic culture in the best sense of the word -- socially, academically, spiritually. My son has made great friends as well. It has been a great introduction to classical education within a Catholic curriculum.
The lyceum is by far probably the best school in the U.S. and even though I only attended for 3 years I recieved an experience of a life time that has prepared me for my future.The Lyceum has changed me into a better student and a better person! There is no better place to get a good classical education!
