I love this school. They take care of the whole student. Everyone knows not only your child, but your family. They have wonderful teachers that teach your child. They do not give busy work. You can tell that the teachers love their jobs. The environment is bright colorful and print rich. One visit will make up your mind. It really is South Pillys best kept secret.
This school provides a safe environment it's small and personel. All the teachers know you and your children.
My kid has been in this school for two years and she likes it a lot. The teachers are very experienced and caring to the children. Also the office people so friendly and cooperative although among the students' parents there's still a huge gap especially when it comes to different races. Most of them only smile and say hi and talk to the same skin color. And the thing I don't like is that the curriculum is too slow that makes the kids do playing more than learning. I compare with my friend's kids who go to other school in the same grade, they've been taught more in academic. One more thing, don't be surprised if you put your kids in this school you have to prepare more more more money than just for the school tuition.
I have been very pleased with St. Gabe's. Is it the best school academically in the city? I would say no. Do they have the best computer lab and other equipment? Nope. However, they do one thing better than any other school I know. That is, they get kids. Schools have in recent years become testing factories. At St. Gabe's your child is treated as a person, and an individual and not a test score number. At St. Gabe's they look at the whole child. I would rather my kids have good test scores and be happy, than get great test scores and be miserable. I know my kiddies are safe there. The school is also very diverse. That is important to my family. If you want your kids to learn a good amount, and be happy kids, then go to St. Gabe's. We love St. Gabes!
