My son attended this school from 3-5 grade and I've never really had any problems. I thought the 5th grade teachers were not as great as 3-4 grade about parent involvement, but not nothing to complain about. My daughter is now in the 3rd grade here and loves it! The school also started a uniform dress code, which I love! Not only is it cheaper, but deters a lot of students from getting picked on about their clothing. I give the school 5 stars!
Chilhowee is one of the most caring schools I've ever seen. The teachers are knowledgeable, caring, and set high expectations for all students to achieve their best.
My child attended this school from 3rd thru 5th. He also attended Sunnyview Primary, which we loved so much. I had alot of different issues with this school. I also felt my child was one of the kids that was picked on by certain staff in the school. No my child wasn't a bully or anything like this, and we do work with him on daily basis to teach him morals and respect. My child is in middle school, which is wonderful. He does great and we have had no problems like we did in the past. So best of luck with this school , their is some nice teachers, like Ms. Sutphin or Ms. Smith, not the TA..
My teacher is also my math teacher and explains things very thouroughly her name is Mrs.Bratten she's also my homeroom teacher.All of my friends love the school 2.
