I am a current senior who has taken the hardest classes at RBVHS. [full ib] Basically here's the rock hard truth: if you take the honors route then the teachers will never ever ever give up on you, they're almost always there to help you even if you dont understand things at first, and i think this hs has the best learning environment one could hope for. also to whoever said there was no orchestra, this is true but there is an excellent marching band and wind ensemble (woot!) which i am proud to be a member of. recommend this school to whoever wants to learn. if the student has zero motivation to learn or to act then nothing not even the best teachers can help them. unfortunately this does happen within this large public school, there are people who just kinda give up and this is where the negative comments come from.

Rancho offers a rewarding International Baccalaureate (IB) Program that allows students to expand their minds, grow as people, and create organizations that will have a lasting impact on their community. Rancho also provides an exceptional AP/Honors Program, along with a prodigious Athletic Program that will ultimately lead your child to success.

I'm a freshmen at RBV, and I have to say I love i there! It's a really good school, and I don't think it's bad at all. Since the beganing of the school year I haven't seen any one being bullied or any fights going on... The only thing I don't like is that there's making out and drugs, but all school's have that... But RBV's a great school, I love it there. =]
