Our test scores and AYP results should speak to the facilities dedication and consistent professionalism. We has four fights in '07'08. Four!!!! That is an unbelieveably low number. Our administration's dedicatiomn to safety and structure is responsible for creating this wonderful environment in which students are held accountable for their actions, just like they will be when they enter 'the adult world'. Let me just quickly address the 'flip-flop' thing...Chemistry labs and science rooms!!! Get it? Fire, glass, etc... It's true, we do have less than modern facilities. Our building is fifty years old. Speak to any faculty member that works here and you will quickly see the sense of family and dedication to students that exists among us. We would not trade what we have built here for any fancy state of the art facility. We build what we have out of our undying devotion to our craft.
This school has extremely poor facilities and a very spotty faculty. The administration, rather than working to ensure that students are in an environment which will benefit their learning experience, harps on 'rules', such as no flip-flops. My daughter only attended the school for one year before we actually moved from the area because I found the curriculum, facilities, and staff so unacceptable.
