Elisa Luna has turned this school around for the better!! Ms. Brace is also an asset! My children have attended Inskip since kindergarten and although (now sixth and fifth grade!) they are leaving, we hold fond memories of Inskip elementary.

I volunteered to help in the class. My husband and I both joined the PTO. I mentioned at the beginning of the year that my son was suppose to be tested for learning disabilties. It is now almost Feb. and I have yet to hear anything about the PTO, no awards ceremonies, only report card night where his teacher said he knows everything and than dismissed us. I am still waiting to hear results of testing. The teacher is always frustated by his behavior. And I have never gotten to help out at all. No one seems to know whats going on. Other schools keep parents much more informed. Thinking about looking into a transfer. Very disappointed.

This is my daughter's first year at Inskip. We are not from the Knoxville area and I have to say I was a little nervous about her starting little o Inskip. I have been more than pleased with Inskip. All of the staff (not just her homeroom teacher) have been wonderful to my daughter and our family. You could not find a more loving, caring staff anywhere. Miss Gina and her staff at Kids Place have been great also...thanks!

Unfortunately, my children no longer attend Inskip since we moved this year. After experiencing just six weeks at a new Knox county school (which boasts to be one of the county's finest), I can honestly tell any parent that 'nice' area neighborhoods and money is not what makes a good school. Inskip strongly encourages parental involvement with each class. My children's teachers always kept the lines of communication open, and we were not only made feel like our presence was accepted, but also appreciated as well. The teachers there really seem to pay attention to the needs of the individual child. They realize that one of the greatest assets they can give to each child is confidence, and they work tirelessly to provide it. Kudos to Elisa Luna and the entire staff for making Inskip Elementary a school that I am proud to say my children were once a part of!
