Why do you love South Dorchester School? I attended and graduated from there. My son attended there from K-8 and now my grandchildren attend there. It has always been a great school. It is family oriented. Most of the teachers and familys have history from knowing each other in the area. We all try to help each other.
This is a fantastic school - it is operated very much like a small private school with heavy teacher and parent involvement. The teachers are all very much personally interested in the individual children and look out for them both at school and in the community. My wife wanted to send our kids to private school, but has fallen in love with SDES!
