The school provides a high quality education. It is located in a beautiful, safe setting and the teachers I've worked with are very accessible and experienced. My child is thriving there!
My son is starting his 5th final year at Pleasant Ridge and my daughter is starting first grade. This is an excellent school with the most professional staff. The parents make the schools what they are. If your not involved then you should never complain. I feel very fortunate to be a part of a smaller school. School now are like assembly lines for kids and over crowded on top of that. We don't have that problem thankfully.

I am very disappointed with this school. The principal is very unprofessional and can be quite rude. The school is old and so are most policies. I will be moving just so my son can attend a different school next year.

First let me say that my sons have been in other Knox County Schools and I have 3 sons One has graduated and is in college one is a senior and one is in 5th grade and was in 4th grade last year at this school ,The building is old and is a historical building it is in fair shape . Teachers are so so to below what should be expected The special ed Teacher is wonderful ,Music teacher is below expectation and singled out a certain student to pull from public programs while on stage while others are left to run wild , There are new teachers this year so perhaps it will improve but I am not holding my breath. The building is clean ,old . Special Ed Teacher is wonderful ,the rest minus the new teachers leave much room for improvement.
