I have been hearing a diverse set of opinions regarding Plato Academy and I have it as a rule always to seek my own opinion. People seek different levels and areas of satisfaction in terms of school services. I have a daughter and my expectations from her school experience for her education are definite, especially in our era! The first thing I looked for is a school that matches my desired training outcome. Meaning, I believe in global education, therefore I am very happy to see her learn the Greek language. Most of our English vocabulary has a Greek root anyway! The second was to choose one that had and has an excellent reputation for their educational program. Upon research, Plato definitely meets this criterion. Another thing to look into was to choose a school with well-known, experienced professional faculty members. This includes everyone from the school board to the teachers in the classroom. Especially when considering a private or charter school, I carefully evaluated the leadership skills. Lack of leadership will frequently lead to much discontent. Strong leadership , like Mr. Christopoulos, will keep a school moving forward and spur on greater success for everyone children, teachers, parents and community. Plato also fulfils this expectation. Also, I was very happy to hear that she will be wearing a uniform. Lastly, and probably most importantly, did Plato fit my family s personal values? Plato received a positive checkmark this round also. The bottom line is that when I leave my child behind and go to work I trust all the people in this school to take care of my child and nurture her in my absence. Choosing the right school was an important step for us. We know that the rewards and future dividends can be tremendous. By examining the various aspect of each choice, families can greatly increase the chances of being happy with their selection and for every family it is different. Our family is very happy with Plato Academy.
I have two children at the school and could not be happier with the staff administration. Highest perfoming school in Pinellas County! After waiting almost two years to get in, it was all worth it!!!Look up their scores and compare.

The best school in the county! It has the feel of a private school with uniforms and such, but the academics outshine any other school inthe county. All Online lessons are available for students and parents. Day to day information. Communication is awesome. This is our second year and we are thrilled there was an opening for us. I have one in 7th and one in 5th!
