My experience with the teachers of Cross Timbers has been really enjoyable. They are very willing to help any parent out with their child to make sure that they are as successful as they can be in their performance inside the classroom and outside. They have always been willing to help me improve the struggles my child has come across for my child to do better as an individual.

The staff at Cross Timbers is excellent. From the principal to the janitor, they know the kids often by name and treat them with respect. Their attention to children with special needs is outstanding.

This school and its people are wonderful! Everyone from the principal to the cafeteria ladies knew my son after the first six weeks of kindergarden, and they all know my entire family by sight. They genuinely care about the kids and do everything possible to see them grow into their fullest potential selves.

They could be doing much more to earn money by collecting more then just BoxTops & Soup Labels. There are Capri Sun Drink Pouches, Used cell phones, laptops, empty ink/toner cartridges. They should look at TerraCycling.com What is PTA REALLY doing?

It is great to teach our kids to give to others-within limits. Support without demanding! I boycott school fundraisers; donate elsewhere to show real value in helping where needed.

From the asking perspective (such as schools asking students to donate to causes) frequent appeals for donations creates real problems for families who cannot afford to donate to every appeal or cause. Stop pressuring kids for money.
