This school has so many problems it is difficult to create a general overview for the rating. Overall the staff do not show much concern for the education of the students. The administration tends to be disrespectful toward parents and show little concern for student safety.

The Systems have really screwed up the school and the counselors do not give the students the attention they should unless they get sent there when they are in trouble.
My child has done well with the smaller systems and that I like. What I don't like is the lack of electives, the seemingly overloaded teachers and the disfunction of the school board, everything stays in an uproar. Many of the teachers are dedicated but dispirited, and many are retiring. As well I could do with a greater level of advanced classes. The school seems to cater to the lowest standard not the highest and as a result classes are pretty noisy and discipline a challenge.
My daughter has really excelled at Lebanon High School. She loves DECA and STARS and is having the time of her life. Her teachers are wonderful! They challenge and support her. I especially love the flexibility in scheduling that allows her to take classes in all four academies. As a taxpayer it is evident that the academy system isn't working and will soon be dismantled. Lebanon High School was great before Jim Robinson and it will be great after him. As far as Peggy Blair being the gem on staff? Get your facts straight...she doesn't even work there anymore. Lebanon School District is lucky enough to have some really dedicated, smart, caring professionals. I, for one, would like to see our community recognize that.
