This school needs to focus on more after school activites other than just sports, hopefully with more of a variety this will put more interest in the kids minds.

Very low student to teacher ratio, smaller classes seem to help each student individually. Very low drop out rate compared to state average. Tradition of excellence in UIL Athletic, Band and Academic competitions.

I love the website Skyward Family Access that allows me as the parent to log on and see my Childs grades, tardiness, and daily assignments. When I have had to call into the school to discuss my Childs grades or future classes the staff has been so helpful and has provided me with more than enough information. The principle knows his students and takes the time to call me at home or at work to go over any issues that have occurred at school or any concerns I may have concerning my child or other students. The teachers are wonderful. My child has nothing but great things to say about each and every one of his teachers and they are always updating me on the status of my Childs grades and conduct.

We test kids at the end of the year and beginning. Kids that don't keep up during the summer take a giant step backwards. If our kids do complain about homework, we ask them,"Do you want to work for a company, or own the company?"

No. Let the children have a break. Let their minds focus on being children. They'll have plenty of homework when they go back to school. I would not even consider enforceing summer homework for my children. They need stress free playtime.

Yes. Of course summer is for fun however they can take a brake from homework 2 weeks or so, not the whole summer. If you teach a child the importance of learing they will enjoy the homework even in the summer.
