Great school. It is small enough to allow the teachers and staff to really focus on the needs of the children. Students get a great blend of core subjects and electives, as well as PE and recess, for a well-balanced day.

Sunnyvale Elementary has a warm, small-town feeling, and the small class sizes (around 16 kids per teacher!) mean that every child gets the attention and help they need. Great mix of traditional academics and new technology - kids learn phonics, investigate science with hands-on experiments, and practice skills in a state-of-the-art computer lab. Great TAKS scores and fabulous 'extras' - for instance, the 4th grade caps a year of Texas history with a field trip to Austin and San Antonio to see the Capitol Building, the Bob Bullock Museum, the famous bat colony, and the Alamo! Your child will thrive in this small-town school.

Excellent small school. You have the feeling of a rural school/values only 20 minutes from downtown Dallas.
