Although this school has great potential, I do not believe enough is currently being done to reach it's potential. There is too much emphasis on on the negative issues and not enough focus on positive encouragement. I also do not believe there is adequate accountability on the teacher's part for academic short comings. There are some very bright teachers and students at this school as well as some innovative learning programs, however, this is all usually over-shadowed by disciplinary problems, school building/campus conditions and low moral. Parental involvement and communication between the school and families are two of the areas that, if improved, could make a big difference for this school. I'd say - worth the effort.

some of BMS teachers do not educate the students. They give them information and expect the students to figure out the process on their own. They are more interested in the discipline policy when the children slip up. They do not treat the kids equally. They want parents to be involved but they don't notify us of ongoings.

I find that the school is too politically connected and the best interest of the child is not first abd foremost.
