New Jerusalem is a great country school. They still have old fashioned values. They believe in dress codes and respecting others. The school is small enough for each child to receive special attention and not get lost in the crowd. We are so happy to have found New Jerusalem.

My child has attended New Jerusalem for 7 years, I truely enjoy the small country school but in the reacent year I fell as though this school has had to many changes to even count. The turn over in the teaching staff is a big concern.

NJ has been a wonderful experience for my daughter and our family. She is able to get the academic attention she needs, for example: reading in a reading group of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade children while she is in the 1st grade. The teachers strive to promote high morals and self-esteem in all grades. Peer modeling in the upper grades reflects the importance of helping others. I have never been on a school campus with such polite and friendly children. Activities for the school promote academic enrichment as well as activities that allow children to be children. Field trips enhance the learning environment as well. NJ has a very active Parent Teacher Club which raises over $20,000.00/year for enhanced programs such as the Artist in Residence Program.
