In the first grading period my child has had 3 different teachers, the principal says it's because class size, well class size has been around now for about 5 years. I was told by Ms. Hutching that maybe I as parent should call the governor and him to repel class size. Also, the homework policy is a joke many teachers DO NOT follow district rules, on many day my child spends up to 3.5 hours doing homework and to top it off sometimes it not even checked, but if a child missed 3 homework they are fast to give a Detention - how about when the teacher does not check 3 homework does she a get a Detention? "No" Take a look at the school rule 6Gx13- 6A-1.23 and you will be surprised what the school board rule is about homework. Get ready for the overload of homework from this school and no one at this school is on the side page from what I have been able to see. Specially the admin with teachers.

Special Kids need to have more outside and indoor school involvement and participation. It will help them develop behavior and communation skills with others. This school is lacking spirit and motivation activities.

Love this school! The staff is amazing and always willing to help. Everyone involved is very well rounded. I must disagree with the negative comments left by others.

My children have attended this school since kindergarten. I find the school to be a great school. The administration has always been helpful and quick to respond to my questions. The teachers are excellent and could not ask for better teachers for my children. There is a sense of community in this school.

I go in every Monday and help with the Kindergarten reading group or play word games. Then I eat lunch with my child. I also attend and bring things to all school parties. Since I volunteer only on Mondays I do not burn out. : )

Our school gives us mandatory hours (15) that we must give to the school in one way or the other. It is very easy if you don't mind stuffing envelopes or being a lunch mom. I think they even give working moms the opportunities to work on paperwork.... More »
