My daughter recently started Pre-K, she had never been to a day care or babysitter, I was concerned about her social development, so I enrolled her in Pre-K at Eastern, also where I attended as a child. Which I think is special. Mr. Walker and the other teachers made me feel comfortable on the first day. I had never left my daughter with anyone, and I had no worries leaving her that day. Ms. Walker is the best Pre-K teacher. She and Ms. Marrian, and Ms. Shannon are more that wonderful with the children. I fell my daughter has excelled at school, both socially and in academics.

Since moving to Eastern Elementary, my children's grades have went from D's and F's to A's and B's. My children think that this school is 'cooler' than their previous school. I'm glad that my children are attending Eastern Elementary and having such better learning skills. Mr. Hargrove is a great principal and is very concerned with the students at this school. I would grade this school with 5 stars.

Eastern Elementary is a very small rural school, better able to provide more, one on one teaching with students. My children were supposedly not learning in a previous school, this school had advised us special education may be necessary. But since their arrival at Eastern, they have acceled. Even with the rural location, Eastern has a Deputy Sheriff available if needed. I highly recommend this school.

If parents are willing to drive the extra distance, why wouldn't they be allowed to choose? Every school is not a match for every child and parents know their children best ... More »

Definitely! I believe that families should be allowed to attend any school they want, because there are some who went to a good school and parents want what's best for their kids. Even education.

Families should be able to attend any school they wish.
