I have two children attending Carver Middle School. Its always a great day at Carver. I like the respect and patience from the staff to resolve any issues. I also like the shown concern for the well being of the students. Striving for excellence is what I see at Carver Middle School.

I am a student at Carver Middle School. This coming up year will be my senior year. I am glad to say that Carver is a wonderful school for parents to bring their children here! I am the captain of the cheerleading squad, and the Steers is a great team! The school education is a important thing. This year, we have added high school credit class. For example, business technology application and spanish. The teachers are great with the students and make time to teacher them who need help.

They could be doing much more to earn money by collecting more then just BoxTops & Soup Labels. There are Capri Sun Drink Pouches, Used cell phones, laptops, empty ink/toner cartridges. They should look at TerraCycling.com What is PTA REALLY doing?

It is great to teach our kids to give to others-within limits. Support without demanding! I boycott school fundraisers; donate elsewhere to show real value in helping where needed.

From the asking perspective (such as schools asking students to donate to causes) frequent appeals for donations creates real problems for families who cannot afford to donate to every appeal or cause. Stop pressuring kids for money.
