Nice teachers, clean campus. The parking lot is a nightmare, especially on mondays, which really brings out the worst in the parents. My problems with Glen Cove are more or less related to the district/state of CA.

Yes, I agree with the previous message about the parking lot situation. I get very frustrated waiting in the car line, so I just park, even if that means up the side street and walk. Some parents are very inconsiderate, don't give the bus room to pass, an refuse to move their car no matter what! Academically, though, we have had a great experience at Glen Cove. My son has had two very good teachers in his two years at the school.

A follow up to the parking lot situation. In the past few weeks it has gotten worse in my opinion. There are more than a handful of parents who just don't seem to understand how the parking lot works and why they must not grid lock the flow of traffic. The buses cannot get in, the parents all get frustrated and honk at each other...all while the classes are going on! I want to help this situation...but I am not sure that all these parents want help. It is my hope that the majority of the parents do want to fix this situation. But short of posting a pair of police officer in the parking lot everyday...I just don't see how it will get better. I am going to talk to the office staff about a couple of ideas I have.
