My child is attending K5 there and we love it! Mrs. Dugan has been a great and caring teacher. She is easy to reach and shows real concern for each of her students. I would recommend this school to anyone!

The teachers are wonderful and deeply care about the success of each student. I am not impressed with administration. Morale doesn't seem to be good and there seems to be a lot of intimidation used by the principal and assistant.

The teachers at Crockett are truly interested and involved in the students achievement. They want their students to improve and succeed. The administration seems to be more interested in gaining higher test scores regardless of student or teacher morale. The atmosphere seems to be a bit strained at times due to tension in the air. I've noticed that the administration talks down to teachers in an effort to manipulate them.

We test kids at the end of the year and beginning. Kids that don't keep up during the summer take a giant step backwards. If our kids do complain about homework, we ask them,"Do you want to work for a company, or own the company?"

No. Let the children have a break. Let their minds focus on being children. They'll have plenty of homework when they go back to school. I would not even consider enforceing summer homework for my children. They need stress free playtime.

Yes. Of course summer is for fun however they can take a brake from homework 2 weeks or so, not the whole summer. If you teach a child the importance of learing they will enjoy the homework even in the summer.
