I think Bath County High School is just like any other school in America. It has its good and bad sides but overall there is no reason to hate the school. The principal is tough but he gets things done and by doing that the students work better, unlike at Bath County Middle School.

Bath County High School is sub-par. There is indifference by the teachers to the students. There are no gifted or accelerated classes available for talented or exceptional students. My son had to pay 175.00 out of his own pocket to get credit for a college class, that he was able to find on his own (no help from guidance counselor) and he took this online. The principal has his own attitude. Overall our experience there (son & daughter) has been miserable. We feel very lucky to have escaped Bath County! There is no support system for the students, as far as anyone other than there parents caring about there education. Kentucky needs to clean house with this county, and get some bright educated caring educators here.
