We moved to this town in 98, I sent my first 2 children to this school but my last child did not want to go to this school and chose Old Colony. I have found that OC is a much better school, shows more interest in the students, has so much more to offer the students, and there are far less clicks. Everyone just kind of mushes together and get along.

We left the Lakeville school system and now see our son doing well and learning the way every child sould be when they go to school. With out hearing we dont have the funds to teach your child. To all parents you need to be the voice for your child! They have the right to learn.Stand up for them or that school will hurt them forever.

Im a senior at apponequet and I find it to be a good, friendly school. There are cliques, as in every school, but everyone is basically friends with everyone. There are few black students, but prejudice is not prevelant. Teachers are good, but honors classes are recommended if you intend to really get anything out of a class. Mr. kelly is a super teacher and he teaches history n sociology. Mrs. Lameroux (biology) has been commended by many awards for her teaching.

We test kids at the end of the year and beginning. Kids that don't keep up during the summer take a giant step backwards. If our kids do complain about homework, we ask them,"Do you want to work for a company, or own the company?"

No. Let the children have a break. Let their minds focus on being children. They'll have plenty of homework when they go back to school. I would not even consider enforceing summer homework for my children. They need stress free playtime.

Yes. Of course summer is for fun however they can take a brake from homework 2 weeks or so, not the whole summer. If you teach a child the importance of learing they will enjoy the homework even in the summer.
