Choosing a school is a difficult decsion. Upon visiting SSCS, we were so impressed with the level of commitment from the principal, teachers, parents and students. My children have attended for several years. This school is dedicated to putting the students learning needs first. It does not matter if your child struggles, is gifted or average, teachers go out of there way to ensure your child receives exactly what they need. Any parent who disagrees was there for a different reason.
The teachers at SSCS care so deeply for the children that are entrusted into our care that we go above and beyond what is expected of us. We stay late, come in early, and spend time on the weekends devoted to creating an optimal learning environment for our students. The parents are a wonderful support and those who are at SSCS are committed to seeing children reach their fullest academic potential.
My child attended SSCS since EC3 and developed significant, lasting relationships with classmates as well as their parents; the families are committed and outstanding. The administration is significantly lacking - leadership to grow this school is simply not there. The turnover of families and staff is atrocious. The administration constanly tries to 'make due' and does not aspire to greatness. With heavy hearts we removed our child to place in another Catholic School. At this time, I would not recommend SSCS to anyone.
