NLA has undergone many changes in the past 2 years. The former pastor and director are no longer on staff. The new director, Ms. Lisa is great. She is always available to parents, and handles any situation in a professional and Christian manner. The current teachers have their CDA or higher degrees, are well trained, hard working and love their children. They are currently using both the ABeka and WeeLearn curriculum. This has been a very good school in the past, and is back to being a high quality, family oriented, educational facility.

Before you even look for a school for your child check teacher-student ratio and will see that in this school is very low. Children are not running and screaming, classes are small, teachers are very nice and kind, but the children do not learn that much, probably becouse of very bad equipment in the classrooms. Owerall, the school is good if you want your child come back from school quiet and not stressed out, if you want your child to learn more in classroom with other 15 children and come home act out histericly, then find another place.

I enrolled my daughter in the VPK program. I was so disappointed and regret putting her there. They did not have enough staff. Too many kids for one teacher to handle. The kids were undisciplined and the teachers could not do what they needed to do to keep them under control. She did not learn much. She did have a loving teacher who did her best under the circumstances. I would not enroll any child in this school!

I love the school and I have never had a problem speaking with my daughter's teacher or the staff at the school. The pastor was always kind and respectful and went, at one instance, beyond what he had to do for me. My daughter learns more than I have expected and I see things that they are doing with her by her art work, daily notices for the day and more.
