My oldest child is attending Gavit Middle school, this year and I have to admit that I had/have some reservations about my son attending a school where the middle school and HS are combined. I was and I am very impressed with the Elementary school (Thomas Jefferson) my children attend. Anyway, I like the fact that I can view my child's perfomance, attendance, and behavior on line; however, the online information is not specific; which causes me to rely on my child to tell me why and what assignments he is missing. My second concern is the lack of communication with the parents and teacher. I am a parent that is involved in my child's education; however, I do not feel like that some of the teachers make a whole lot of effort to partner with the parents.
i am a student and i dont believe that this school deserves even one star, they have no working clocks, no air, mold in the class rooms. im sorry but i cant wait to graduate!!!
I am an old student from gavit high school and I had to move and I love that school. It is a great school and I made all good grades there. They always helped me with eveything.
