my three boys go to sisk the teacher are all very nice as well as all the staff as for the larger class size they do seem to care about kids falling behind and they look out for your children to put the in the intervention programs which seem to help.I also like that they have a good perorming arts which i really enjoy watching .

I just enrolled my children in Sisk after moving to Salida, and I'm glad I did! My eldest child is in the fourth grade, and up until now I felt that he had not been getting a good education. Sisk really expects more from him than his previous school did, and I feel that they really care about him as an individual.

They could be doing much more to earn money by collecting more then just BoxTops & Soup Labels. There are Capri Sun Drink Pouches, Used cell phones, laptops, empty ink/toner cartridges. They should look at TerraCycling.com What is PTA REALLY doing?

It is great to teach our kids to give to others-within limits. Support without demanding! I boycott school fundraisers; donate elsewhere to show real value in helping where needed.

From the asking perspective (such as schools asking students to donate to causes) frequent appeals for donations creates real problems for families who cannot afford to donate to every appeal or cause. Stop pressuring kids for money.
