All the teachers anre patient and great. They are good at teaching. There are enough facilities for music and art classes. Most parents involved in school activities.

We have two recently graduated and one more on his way - most of the teachers our kids had were either very good or absolutely fantastic! (Thanks, Mr. Warmee, Mr. Yonge, Mr. Lee, Mr. Rongley, Ms. Albrecht, Ms. Cato, Mr. Barzil, Ms. Smith, Ms. Johnson, Ms. Webb.)

Yuba City High School has some of the finest teachers in the state. They are knowlegable, well-educated, and deeply concerned for the success of their students. The lack of respect they receive from the administration and to some extent the public, has diminished morale and held the school back from realizing its true potential. Under the circumstances, YCHS is a mediocre school sitting on excellent teachers.

The lack of parent participation and teacher's ability is evident in the horrifically low academic achievement. The parents need to wake up and demand more out of themselves the students and especially the educators. It is unbelievable with a community with such population and growth that the school system is in such poor shape.
