Not only was I student back in early early 80s, but my daughters attend the Granby School System. East Meadow is a very small, close knit community where everyone is somehow connected. From the moment you walk through the front doors you will notice the atmosphere. So conducive to learning, the entire building seems to exist to only encourage learning. Teachers team teach, they open the walls in their classrooms and allow for all students to participate in the process. It is quite simply a wonderful, wonderful place. I count myself as incredible lucky to have been student and now my children. The tiny class sizes and amazing teachers along with an amazing priniciple, Mr. Pietras, really allow for everyone to be involved in their child's education. I can't recommend this town or it's school system enough.
