this school is nice . the ratio of teacher to student is lovely but,the school has a lot of kinks . for one it does not prepare a child well for high school.the school has so many fundraisers but where does all that money go? the social enviroment can be unhealthy , several people have left because children were too mean to them.the interior is old and hasnt changed much in decades. all and all the school is great and i'd send my children here.

My son has attended St. Ambrose for 7 years. Overall, we have been happy with the school. The pricipal is professional and personable t the parents. I will say the school interior needs to be updated--has not been changed much since the 1970's. Also, there have been complaints from some parents that at the junior high level, the teachers are not preparing children for the rigorous standards of a private high school. I will say that my son has excelled academically at this school and finds the curriculum to be, for the most part, challenging. I do believe that some parents will always find a reason to complain. There is no perfect school.

my son has only been going here for one year - i am very impressed with the unending willingness to help and attention the staff continues to offer our family - the principal is a wonderful person and committed to ensuring an everchanging and evolving environment in order to keep the staff in a fulfilling role - although the class size could be smaller to better fit the image of a private school, the attention to each individual has not been affected and i am confident that my son is being given the personal focus he deserves - we have decided that this is the best environment for our son - and we have tried everything from personal child care to montessori school - st ambrose has shown us what a committed team can do for a young family with a very boyish boy
