We love Mickey Cox and can't say enough great things about this school, the teachers and the administration. We moved here 5 years ago when our children were starting kindergarten and 2nd grade. They didn't know us, but we felt like family. Respect is exactly what is given to these students. Academically, all CUSD schools push their students to achieve the highest goals. We're very proud to be a Mickey Cox family and wouldn't have it any other way!
My son has been at this elem. for 5 years and we have only felt that 2 teachers have really helped in providing proper educational needs. The focus is on sports over anything else. Lets face it how many professional athletes do you know?
I have a son who attends Mickey Cox School and I feel rather than all the sports they offer there should be programs for the children that need extra help in their school work. Because of the size of the classrooms teacher's do not have the time to help those students.
